How we work
Most spice moves through several hands between the vine and the buyer, and each hand blends lots. By the time it reaches a wholesaler, the label can mean almost anything. We work the other way round. What we sell is grown on our own farm or bought from growers we know personally, mostly around Siddapura (581355), Sirsi and Yellapura in North Canara. The lots stay separate and we grade them ourselves.
Nothing is imported and nothing is blended in from outside the district. If we cannot source it here, we do not offer it.
We farm organically as a matter of course — no chemical fertiliser and no pesticide — and everything is dried in the sun rather than force-cured. Sun-drying costs us appearance on some lines, most obviously our cardamom, which stays a natural white-yellow instead of the forced green. It buys back more than it costs in taste and aroma.
Pricing is quoted per enquiry rather than published, because the market moves weekly and the specification changes the number materially. Send us what you need and we will come back with a landed price.
Who we supply
Our buyers are concentrated in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and West Bengal, with a handful elsewhere in India. We are actively looking to widen that, both to other states and to more markets abroad.
We export regularly to Dubai and the wider UAE, and into Europe, through third-party tie-ups that handle the shipping leg.
