About this lot

This is not the green cardamom sold out of Kerala and Haveri. Ours is dried in the sun rather than force-cured, so the capsule fades to its natural white-yellowish colour instead of holding an artificial green. What it loses in appearance it gains in the cup: the taste is fuller, the pungency higher and the aroma stronger than the green variant. That is why several premium garam masala brands buy this grade specifically. Sourced from Kodagu and from our own belt around Sirsi and Siddapura.
